Account permissions
ChatStyle connects to streaming platforms only for features you use. Here is what each requested permission enables.
Twitch
Twitch permissions verify viewer roles and control access to chat skins while connecting your account to the correct identity.
Viewer permissions
Viewers grant these permissions when connecting their Twitch account.

Streamer permissions
Streamers grant the viewer permissions plus channel permissions for role access and subscription pricing.

Google and YouTube
Sign in with Google and connect one YouTube or Brand channel. Google account IDs and YouTube channel IDs are stored separately.
Sign-in identity
openid email profile — Provides your Google account ID, name, avatar and verified email for sign-in and secure account linking.
YouTube read-only
https://www.googleapis.com/auth/youtube.readonly — Identifies your selected channel, shows channels you subscribe to, finds active broadcasts and locates their live chat.
Channel memberships
youtube.channel-memberships.creator — For streamers only: member, level and membership-duration checks for member-only styles and billing. This restricted scope is requested only when the Members API feature is enabled after Google grants access.
Live-chat transport
The chat bridge normally reads public chat using ChatStyle’s project API key, not an extra account permission. When channel authorization is required, it uses a short-lived access token; refresh tokens stay in the ChatStyle application.
